Clinics and private lessons
Badminton Lachine now offers a varied program of improvement clinics for adults, as well as private or semi-private lessons. The schedule and pricing for these classes will be announced soon.
Equipment evaluation nights
With the help of its partners, Badminton Lachine organizes racket evaluation nights throughout the season, allowing participants to try different types of rackets or strings. Members will be notified by email about upcoming dates.
Discovery of Speedminton
To complete the off-season and have fun in the parks or on the beach, what better way than to come discover a sport that’s rapidly growing: Speedminton.
Badminton Lachine regularly organizes demonstration and free trial evenings of this exciting new sport during the summer.
Services
Shuttles are provided for all playing sessions
The facilitator is responsible for distributing a shuttle per court at the beginning of the evening, replacing damaged shuttles, and collecting all the shuttles at the end of the evening. By default, plastic shuttles are used. (This service is included in the price of your membership.)
The club also offers the option to purchase shuttles at a very competitive price if you wish to acquire them for personal use.
Badminton Lachine offers a racket stringing service
Please contact the activity coordinator to drop off and pick up your racket if the string is broken or if you’d like to have it replaced. If you need advice about strings, we’ll be happy to provide you with all the necessary information.
The cost of the service depends on the type of string selected and ranges between $23 and $30 per racket, all inclusive (or $18 if you provide your own string).
